Show PALISADE PLAYMAKERS By Clive Gary Lou Cunningham and Max Cunningham were voted by the coaches as the playmakers of the Palisade-Bulldog Classic held at Palisade Dec. 2-3. Along with the honors of being voted playmaker, Max and Lou each received a trophy. The teams involved in the classic were Palisade, Moab, Rifle and Nucla. Moab was pitted against Nucla in their first game in which Moab scored a 67-56 victory. Lou had 11 total points and Max had 25 total points. In Moab's second and final game in which Moab defeated Rifle 75-66, Lou scored 8 total points and Max had 21. In the tournament, Moab garnished first place in both J.V. and Varsity. |
