Show Thompson Squabble Results From County Meeting Grand County Commissioners Commission-ers Monday heard arguments concerning annexation of property belonging to Lester Rogers into the Thompson Water District. Following a discussion of the matter with other residents of Thompson, the Commissioners stated that the matter should first be resolved re-solved by the water district and then a recommendation should be presented to the Commission for action. The. hearing cn the matter was adjourned until August 7, at 10 a.m. An adjustment to Bill Walker Wal-ker on Cisco property and to J. Perry Christensen for tax es were refused since the Board of Equalizaton had already al-ready been held. In other business, the commissioners com-missioners approved the purchase pur-chase of road oil from Black-line Black-line Asphalt Sales and they appoinlcd Bette Lange of Thompson and Irene Wilcox of Elgin as election judges to replace Violet Brock and Maggie Rogers, who have declined de-clined the position. Lee Howland met with the commission to discuss the possibilities of working with Green River City to annex Elgin into the cty to provide water and sewer facilities. No action was taken. |
