Show Services Sef in Paradox For Mrs. Hazel Couraud Funeral services are set, Friday at 2 p.m. at the Paradox Para-dox Congregational Church in Paradox,. Colo, for a long time Moab and Paradox resident res-ident Hazel Lucille Crutcher Couroud, 62, who passed away suddenly on July 16, at Gallup, Gal-lup, New Mexico. She was born December 22, 1909 near Harrisonville, Mo. and spent her childhood in Missouri and Louisiana. She was married at Nuevello-Lo. rado, Texas in 1932 to Henri Four Couraud,, who passed away in 1956. She was one of a family of French -immigrants who sought sou-ght silver on- the LaSal mountains of Utah and Colo. She was manager of the Pa-gosa Pa-gosa Springs Hotel in Colorado Colora-do for many years and was a member of the Episcopal church. Survivors include one son, John H. Couraud of Ft Defiance, De-fiance, Arizona and one daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. Don (Judith Ann) Robinson of Moab. One brother, bro-ther, Phillip Crutcher of Blue Springs, Missouri also survives. sur-vives. There are two grandchildren. grand-children. Father Wayne Pontius of St. Christopher's Mission at Bluff will conduct the services serv-ices and will hold a requium mass at Paradox. Burial will be in the Paradox cemetery under the direction of the Turner Funeral Home. |
