A group of 54 bicycle cnthulasts arrived ar-rived in Moab Tuscday aftrnoon on one leg rA a 6,000 mile, 40-day trip, which is expected to take them next to the south rim nf Grond Canyon. Called the "dc-Cycl's," "dc-Cycl's," the group represents 19 different religious groups and depend on a large church in the cities they visit to bed them down. They have their own sleeping bags. They represent nine different states-and two countries and hold the North American Ameri-can group record of 193 miles in one day with 58 riders, which was set last year. The group presently averages 125 miles a day, and began its journey in Hartford Ind. on July 3. During their brief stay in Moab the youngsters presented a singing sing-ing program at the City Park. |
