Show Man Found After Search In Arches Area A Wisconsm man spent an unexpected night in the wilder wild-er parts of Arches National Park Friday, but was found unharmed the next day by park rangers and Sheriffs Posse members, it was re-pr-ed this 'ek by Sheriff W. H. Bowman. Theodore Baker, 63, Chilton, Chil-ton, Wise, was visiting the National Park with his bro. ther, Harvey Baker, and did not return to the car which .was parked in the Delicate Arch parking lot at dark cn Friday. Officials were notified noti-fied of his disapperance ry the latter Mr. Baker, and the Grand County Sheriff was notified around 10:30 that evening. Mr. Bowman stated that a group of some twenty men including around nine Sheriff's Sher-iff's Posse members, combed comb-ed the rugged area all nigh!. Mr. Baker was found around 8:10 a.m. on Satiiy jn the Fiery Furnace section of Arches, in good physical condition. |
