Show Moab BLM Man Promoted, Transferred The Bureau of Land. Management Man-agement announces the trans for and promotion of Larry O. Maxfield, who has been employed since June 19G6 as a Natural Resource Specialist Special-ist in the Grand Resource Area office, will move to Randolph, Utah where he will accept the position of Area Manager. He will report re-port to his new assignment on October 21. While living in Moab, Larry Lar-ry and wife Carolyn have been active in the LDS Church. Larry served as Scoutmaster of Troop 316 and Carolyn has been active in Relief Society and Primary functions. The Maxfields have three children, Scott 6, Mark 4, and Jaci Lynn 10 months. To replace Mr. Maxfield, Richard G. Burch reported to the Moab office on October 7. Mr. Burch, a native cf Whittier, California graduated graduat-ed from Utah State University Univer-sity in 1964 with a BS degree in Range Management. He then entered the Navy through Officers Candidate School and has been stationed station-ed in Hawaii until his recent discharge. Richard is married to the former Carol Kempf of Eph-raim, Eph-raim, Utah. They have two children, Scott 5, and Suzanne Suz-anne 3, and will make their home in Moab. |
