'A I ' ' , v,-'-"K yy 1 . , y.- : ' 1 , Montei Higgins Montez Higgins, Terry Warner Engaged Via Long Distance An unusual engagement announcement took place in the house of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Pimpell on September 22. Terry W. Warner with the U. S. Air Force and now stationed sta-tioned in Viet Nam asked his uncle, Mil Pimpell, to engage Miss Higgins by Proxy. Mr. Warner had sent the ring from Viet Nam and requested request-ed the Higgins and PimpeM families to be together for the occasion. Montez is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Higgins of 499 Andrea Court,' Moab and was a graduate of Grand County High School, in J9G8. Mr. Warner is also a graduate, grad-uate, of Grand County High (19G7) and had made his home with the Pimpolls during dur-ing his junior and senior high school years. He received receiv-ed his basic training n San Antonio, Texas and graduated from the Air Force Electronics Elec-tronics school in Chanute, Illinois. Upon graduation. h- was. immediately assigned to Viet Nam. Rev. and Mrs. Emil Balla were also in attendance for the occasion which was recorded re-corded and forwarded ta Terry. A spring wedding is planned plan-ned after Mr.- Warner's return re-turn to the States in April. |
