After receiving commitment papers he and his wife went to the mental hospital together. It Is asserted that Macillroy ha spells In which he raves and runs until be is exhausted. He formerly owned a saloon on Market street, where the Owl drug store now stands. For some time he ran the Federal bar on Commercial street. Mrs. Macillroy persuaded him to dispose of the last-named saloon a year ago, and since then be ha been under a physician' physi-cian' care. A wound on the head which Macillroy received from a cleaver when a small boy contributed In part tp his trouble. The cut raised a large bump which, if touched, at time makes the man lose all senses. |
