STUDY IMMIGRATION PROBLEM. WASHINGTON. April 22. The commission com-mission appointed In pursuance of the action of the last session of Congress to Investigate conditions In connection with the subject of immigration, met today. It is expected that a preliminary investigation investi-gation of the ports of New York and Boston will be made, and afterward either thn full committee or a subcommittee subcom-mittee will go abroad to extend the inquiry in-quiry In the European countries from which most of the immigrants come.
