Show GRANTS PARDON TO SEVEN CONVICTS, BUT REFUSES 8 PETITIONS The Board of Pardons, at its meeting at the State penitentiary, granted seven sev-en pardont. The petition for a pardon for "Dutch" Charlea Botha Tvaa not reached by the board in its deliberations, but will probably come up for consideration consider-ation at the next meeting. Pardons were granted the following: Myron E. Lang, sentenced for grand larceny In Wayne county to three years, March 28, 10. Warner F. Mcintosh, sentenced at Ogden Og-den to one year, January 7, 1 907. for grand larceny. Charles E. Irwin, sentenced to elKht months, October 26 last, for adultery. Clarence Kennedy, sentenced at Salt Itke, September 27. 1904, for assault with a deadly weapon. His term will expire July 28. John H. Holllman, sentenced in T.'tah countv to five years, for arson, on April 26. 1907. J. D. Sparks, given three years In Salt Lake January 18, 1905, for burglary, gets out one day before his term empires. John W. GUson. who got three years in Salt Lake on April 24, 1905. for grand larceny, was paroled. The board refused to grant eight petitions pe-titions for pardon. |
