Show BIG SHOW IS . PLANNED BY ELKS Grand Minstrel and Musical Comedy Entertainment Will Be Given at the Club Early in April. When the Elks do a thing they do it right. Everybody knows that. So. that when they announce they will give a grand minstrel and musical comedy show early in April, everybody knows that it will be the best thing of the kind seen here in years. Exalted Ruler Homer retires in April, and his brothers in the local herd are planning the details of the entertainment, entertain-ment, and as a tickler to the public palate will give as a headliner a musical and singing turn by fifty of the most prominent young ladies in the city, the stnnt to be patterned after the (amous "Florodora" sextette. Three of the cleverest and most experienced ex-perienced stage directors in the country, coun-try, it is thought, will assist the Elks in bringing about the affair, which will mean a large outlay of .money and an exhibition of what local talent can do in both giving and taking part in a theatrical entertainment. Fifteen novices will be put throi'gh the installation tonight before District Grand Exalted Euler Judge A. G. Home, who will be the guest of honor at certain cer-tain high jinks after the' ceremonies. Judge Home will also take part in arranging ar-ranging details for the spring entertainment. |
