Show DISPATCHERS' STATION LEAVES MAIN STREET No more will the telephone bells ring at the northeast corner of First South and Main streets; no more will strangers stran-gers look around and wonder where the bells are hidden. Orders were sent forth yesterday that the dispatchers' station of the street railway company at this corner is to be moved to the barns, and that dispatchers will bear the title of inspectors, and wear caps,, labeled to that effect. J. B. Smith and A. M. Derrick are Main street inspectors, and George Manning, ''Jack'' Williams and A. K. Emery are general inspectors. |
