Show COMING AND GOING Student Comes Home for Holidays; S. L. Woman Seeks California Sunshine e " 1 Home from Harvard. , It was a happy reunion when Mr. and Mrs. William J. Lowe, 1437 East South Temple street, and their daughter, Mrs. Preston E. Ashton, greeted their son. John W. Lowe, who returned home from the holidays holi-days after his first semester at Harvard Har-vard law school. Happy to be home again. John was in a jubilant mood and had i much to tell of Boston and law j school ! "Requirements have stiffened; since Dean Landis came to the school he said. "But that will cut down the number of entrants and also the heretofore high 'mortality rate among students." His father also is a lawyer and is a former president of the Salt Lake Rotary club. John is a graduate grad-uate of the University of Utah, where he was a member of the polo team and Sigma Chi fraternity. He expects to finish school in three years and take up his practice in Salt Lake City. . Like the wise migratory birds, Mrs. Charles H. Wells, 430 Second avenue, fled the chilly mountains for her California home. Helped to her seat on the train by her husband, accountant in the city engineer's office, Mrs. Wells explained she had maintained a home in Long Beach and one In Salt Lake City for the last 15 years. She puti one e-vrr on the weather man as she spends the winter in California and the summer in Salt Lake City; "I won't be lonesome." she said. "I have four eons and daughters there and I feel as much at borne there as I do here." Among her baggage was a typewriter. type-writer. Did Mrs. Wells write? Yes. but she wouldn't tell what Mrs. Wells is a. daughter of the late W. W.
