Motorists Cautioned to Shun Trick to Escape County Levy Assessor Says Checkup Will Be Made Against Other Registrations Clever Salt Lake county motorists who last year paid taxes in other counties on their automobiles need not think they can repeat the process this year, County Assessor A. J. Skidmore warned Friday, Those trying the trick again this year probably will find themselves paying taxes twice, he said, as they will be allowed to pay the taxes in another county, then will be required to pay in Salt Lake county upon penalty of losing their cars.
