Show OGDEN LAWYER'S FUNERAL PENDS OTiDEN - Funeral services for William Riley Sheen, 58, prominent Ogden attorney, were being arranged ar-ranged Wednesday. Ha died Tuesday Tues-day at 1:23 p. m. In an Ogden hospital hos-pital after several days' Illness of pneumonia. Mr. Skeen waa born August 4, 1881, In Plain City, Weber county, a son of Lyman S. and Electa Dixon Skeen. His early education was received in the schools of Plain City and Ogden and he later attended the University of Utah. Hvas graduated from the University' of Chicago in 1909 with an L.L. B. degree and sine that time had practiced law In Ogden. Mr. Skeen waa active in affairs of the L. D. S. church, being a member of the seventies quorum of the Ogden L. D. S. Sixth ward, and waa Instructor of the seventies class. Mr. Skeen was a brother of D. A. and J. D. Skeen, Salt Lake City attorneys. H married Jean Film bet h Ellison, Elli-son, daughter of E. P. Ellison, Davis county banker, in the Salt Lake L. D. S. tempi December 21. 1905. She died March 9, 1931. Surviving are the following sons and daughters:. Mrs. Ruth Bott. Merrill. Kathryn. Richard and Ellison El-lison Skeen, of Ogden; Paul Skeen, Klamath Falls, Ore.; four grandchildren grand-children and the following brothers and sisters: Charles Skeen, Twin Falls. Idaho; Joseph Skeen. Warren, War-ren, Weber county: J. D. and D. A. Skeen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Electa Jean Johnson, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Mary E. R. Brown, Farr West; Mrs. Isabel Charleton. West Weber; Mrs. Ivy Marsrien, Murray, Blain, Wilford and Elwood Skeen, Mrs. Lenora Freeman and Mrs. Jesse Cook. Plain City. Larkln A Sons mortuary of Ogden Og-den will announce funeral rites. |
