" 'The angel" is Mrs. EUs Brand-strom-Ullch of Cambridge, Mass., who arrived in Salt Lake City Wednesday morning to make an appeal for Finnish aid. Through private donations, Sweden hss given $22,-000,000 $22,-000,000 to Finland and has sent 25,000 volunteers to fight for the neighboring republic. A native of Sweden, Mrs. Brand-strom-Ulich received her sobriquet because of her relief work among prisoners in Siberia at the close of the World wsr. "If we had all given Finland help earlier, that nation would have had a better chance to win," she declared. Meanwhile, C. H. Carlqulst, chairman of the Nordic committee, announced that approximately 25 volunteers of the "flying U" squadron squad-ron have left Salt Lake City to make their way to Canada to enlist en-list in the Finnish air corps.
