Volumes old and very wise Shelved In utter loneliness. ' "You should reed It!" I sm told By some pleased enthusiast And I turn snd then behold Browning, held in leather fast, Milton, master puet old Waiting tlU I've time at last. "Here's a book which you must read!" Every day I hear this said. And as want of time I plead Old Sam Johnson hangs his head Saying: "Here Is much you need Shelved before you, still unread! un-read! "You must read It !" Oft the cry Follows clever books and good. Time goes rushing on snd I Pile them up, like so much wood. Knowing surely I shall dis Without reeding all I should.
