Consul,-Staff r WASHINGTON, Oct T W-The W-The state department Saturday received word direct from Mukden that Chinese Communist authorities authori-ties have arrested Consul Osn. Angus Ward -and four members of his staff. The arrest waa In connection with an alleged assault en a former for-mer Chinese employe of the consulate. con-sulate. .
