Sugarhouse C. C. Executive Resigns Posilion SUGARHOUSE Resignation of Con D. Sllard as executive secretary secre-tary of Sugarhouse chamber of commerce, effective Wednesday, was announced Tuesday by Samuel J. Nicholes, president Mr. Sllard, who has served In the post since July 1, aald he was resigning re-signing to accept a position In Salt Lake City, but could not disclose Its nature. In aubmltting his resignation Mr. Sllard reported that the chamber, cham-ber, had collected $5000 In its current cur-rent financial drive and that with the present rate of contributions It was expected to reach 70 of the $15,000 goal. Mr. Silard, who formerly was a resident of Pennsylvania, is a graduate of the U. S. naval academy acad-emy at Annapolis, Md., and served 20 years In the marine corps.
