Mutton stew Is B cents a pound, shoulder 10 cents, fresh pork from 12 to 12 cents, excepting except-ing chops . which are from 15 to 17 cents, pot roast of beef, 10 to 12 cents, round 15 cents, ribs 17 'cents, uorter-house uorter-house 20 cents, and veal cutlets tromIS to 20 cents a pound. Eggs are 30 cents a dozen today with indications of a decline in price soon. Butter is 30 cents a pound. The fruits on the market consist of apples at from SI to $1.75 a box, oranges from 15 to 60 cents a dozen, lemons, 20 and 25 cents a dozen, grape ' fruit 10 cents apiece. Rhubarb is plentiful plen-tiful now and may be purchased at most of the markets now at 15 cents , a pound. The fish market presents a more appetizing appe-tizing appearance this week than it has for a long time. The Utah lake fish, carp and mullet are selling at 5 cents a pound, or six pounds for 25 cents. Perch, sole, flounders and white herring are 12 cents a pound, sturgeon, smelts, catfish, codfish, shad and halibut are 15 rents a pound. Salmon is 17 cents. Lake Michigan pike and white fish and the Texas red snapper are new on the market this week and are 'selling at 20 cents a pound as are also striped bass.
