Show CONCENTRATING. WORK IN AUDITING DEPARTMENT Three New Offices Created on Ria Grande Railroad System by President Jcffery, ' With a view of concentrating the work and the responsibility of the accounting account-ing department of the Rio Grande system. President Jeffery has Just created three new offices subordinate to General Auditor Murphy. The offices and the appointees to them are S. W. Meyer, auditor of disbursement; F. M. Dewees, auditor au-ditor of freight receipts, and J. F. Howe, auditor of passenger receipts. Under this arrangement each head will sign, papers and be responsible for the department de-partment over which he has charge. The office of assistant general auditor, recently resigned by J. F. Evans, is abolished. Each of the three appointees has been chief clerk In the department where he Is now made the head. The new offices carry with them a considerable Increase In salary. On March ICth F. S. McNamara, general storekeeper of the Rio Grande, with headquarters In Denver, will become general purchasing agent of the Colorado Si Southern. Mr. McNamara will be succeeded by A. F. Jordan, former general storekeeper of the Missouri Pacific road In Kansas City. |
