Show FAREWELL RECEPTION GIVEN TO TOM GILES A farewell reception and banquet was given Friday evening by the Clayton Clay-ton Music company and its employees to Tom Giles, who will soon leave for Berlin to study music for three years. About thirty guests were present. J. J. McClellan rendered selections on the piano in his superior and inimitable style and S. Molyneuz Worthlngton Ing the Vulcan song from Gounod's "Philemon and Baucis," and "Leaving Yet Loving." He was In splendid voice and his selections were delightful. After the banquet there was dancing. The reception was held at the quarters of the Clayton company. Mr. Giles was presented with a handsome traveling toilet set. |
