Show Opinion Given On Dividing Corporation Profits If all existing corporation profits, pro-fits, all dividends to investors and all incomes of $25,000 or over were turned into employee wage accounts, ac-counts, "the total would hardly be enough to result in a 5 percent wage increase across the board." This statement was made recently re-cently by" Hiland C. Batcheller, president of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., to refute labor leaders statement that still higher postwar post-war purchasing power shoula come from profits. "To have more pie to divide, r matter how you divide it," Mr. Batcheller asserted, "you must bake more pie. And you can't bake it with the oven fire out." |
