Show RADIO PERFORMERS NOTE ANNIVERSARY A recent broadcast of "One , Man's Family" marked the golden wedding anniversary of the radio characters, "Mr. and Mrs. Henry Barber." This occasion might be made the subject for thought of young couples who marry on slight acquaintance, and who probably never consider what life may be fifty years hence, or in the interim. inter-im. Instead, the idea of many of them seems to be, "If I don't like married life, it's easy to get a divorce" di-vorce" which will never lead to a golden wedding, for mutual forbearance for-bearance is the watchword by which married couples should be governed. All of which recalls the old story of the father, giving advice ad-vice to his son and his bride, that in married life there always should be two bears in the home bear and forbear. L. M. F. |
