Today, competition is no longer synonymous with antagonism. Hostile unbelief and unreasoning prejudice have given way to a spirit of unselfish cooperation. With greater tolerance for new ideas and a willingness on the part of industry to pool abilities toward tow-ard the achievement of a single goal, came ever more rapid progress pro-gress in mechanical development.
