Dissatisfied 'With Adjustment Of Tax Assessment The Springville Chamber ol Commerce is still not entirely satisfied sat-isfied with tax adjustments made on Springville business property, it was stated in a letter to the Utah County Commission. The letter asserts that the top assessment on Springville business busi-ness property should not be above $25 per front foot, and on a graduated scale downward depending depend-ing on location and value of the property. Present top is $35 per front foot, Commissioner Sylvan W. Clark said. Adjustments were made iri. the Springville area after a recent meeting of Springville businessmen business-men and other citizens with the county commission and County Assessor J. Austin Cope Jr., to protest assertedly excessive assessments. |
