The conference opened with a priesthood leadership meeting Saturday Sat-urday evening, and was concluded with a program under direction of the stake M. I. A. Sunday evening. Other speakers in the morning session were President Strong, who dealt with "Problems of Youth in the Family and Parents Responsibility;" Ida Maycock, "The Family Here and Hereafter;" Mar-cell Mar-cell Tingey, "Blessed Are the Pure in Heart;" and Beverly Hancock, 'Need of a Companionship in the Home." Music was furnished by the , Mapleton Youth choir, under direction direc-tion of Miss Thora Whiting, accompanied ac-companied by Robert Thorn. The afternoon session was ateo presided over by Bishop Richards. He and Mr. Nydeggar both gave inspiring sermons. Glen Sumsion was in charge and first speaker. Bee Mendenhall, recently returned re-turned from the Southern States mission, reported on her experiences experi-ences in the missionfield.
