Show Legion Team To Play Payson Here Saturday ftiglit The SpringviUe American Legion basketball team will meet the Payson Team here Saturday night, Jan. 31, immediately immed-iately following the B. Y. U. -Aggie game. The game is free to the public. . $ : Payson is holding down second spot in the district 4 league standings, stand-ings, while the SpringviUe club is in third spot and must win Saturday's Satur-day's contest to keep in the running run-ning for a chance to get in the state tourney here, February 26, 27 and 28. The local club will play at American Fork this coming week. Last Saturday night the SpringviUe Spring-viUe Vets came within one point of defeating the highly-favored Pro-vo Pro-vo veterans. Score of the game was 37-36. Provo led throughout the game, but a last quarter rally came near to spelling defeat for the Provoans.
