Show Home Culture Club Hears Music Program An entertaining and instructive program featuring the life of the musician, Victor Herbert, and a number of his compositions, was given at the meeting of the Home Culture club Friday, when members mem-bers met with Mrs. Vera Perham. Mrs. Mary Bird was in charge of the program and gave a short synopsis of the life of Herbert. Later several people rendered musical selections composed by him. Hal and Nancy Perham gave a vocal duet; Mrs. Bird, piano numbers; Don Gottfredson and Carol Jean Loveridge, vocal numbers; num-bers; Thora Whiting, vocal selections, selec-tions, and Mrs. Eileen Bird, violin numbers. Also during the afternoon, Mrs. Warren Beardall gave a report on the recent officers meeting at Pay-son, Pay-son, and Mrs. Charles Franks gave a report on the Colorado river water wa-ter supply. The meeting was concluded with a nicely arranged lunch, served by the hostess. |
