Kiwanis Schedule State Art Banquet 3 And Tour of Gallery This Evening Approximately 300 Kiwanis club members and their partners from all parts of the state are ex-u ex-u pected to attend the annual inter-club Kiwanis ban- v. quet this evening in the Seconds ward amusement hall, beginning J.1 at 7:30 p. m. A. Merlin Steed of Glendale, ! Calif., through whose generosity i the high school came into posses-f. posses-f. sion of the fine Steed Memorial J collection, will be the principal r guest speaker. President Victor ,5 Frandsen will be in charge of the meeting and will introduce H. M. Weight, club vice-president, as toastmaster. Arrangements have been under direction of H. J. Rob-bins, Rob-bins, chairman of the inter-club '. committee. 1 ; The Kiwanis state banquet is I : held annually during April to pro- ! vide an opportunity for club mem-' mem-' I bers from many cities to see the 1 : high school art exhibit. After the I I banquet in the Second ward hall, - the group will go to the art gallery where they will be invited to tour ' 1 the galleries informally. 1,1 A highlight of the evening's en-" en-" tertainment will be the presenta- tion of a fine painting in the form j of an attendance prize to a visit- ing club member or guests.
