Show Harold Thorn Tops Com. Bowlers; Culligans In Lead Culligan's, Lions and the Herald teams came out with wins in the Commercial bowling league last week. Culligan's tipped Haymond Drug, 3-1, totaling 2242 pins to the loser's 2159. . Lions likewise won with two games forfeited by Holland Furnace, and the Herald counted 2047 pins to Anderson Garage's Ga-rage's 1872 for a 3-1 win. The league wound up league play last night. i High scoring honors went to Harold Thorn, who captured both the single and the series scoring. In the single game, Thorn tied Ted Best for top score, with each getting get-ting 187 pins. Robert Jordison made it a close second with 182. Series high score was 496 for Thorn. Robert Bringhurst came in second with 478, and Harrison Conover was third with 471. Culligan's Cul-ligan's got the high team single game score of 785, i 768. Haymond counted 747.
