Show Funeral Services Held Monday For Mrs, Emma B. Starr Funeral services were conducted in the Second ward chapel Monday Mon-day afternoon, for Mrs. Emma B. Starr, 79, widow of Courtland Adelbert Starr, who died Thurs-Hay Thurs-Hay evening at an Ogden hospital, following an operation. Bishop R. W. Bradford of the First ward was in charge. Friends called at the home of her sister, Mrs. Jennie Starr in this city before the services. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under direction of Larkin and Son Mortuary of Ogden. Mrs. Starr moved from Springville Spring-ville to Ogden about three years I ago to be with her daughters, who were teaching school in that city. She had made her home in Springville approximately forty years. She was born at Mona, March 9, 1S70, a daughter of Richard James and Emma Price Burras-ton. Burras-ton. She spent here early life at Nephi and on July 19, 1893 was married to Mr. Starr at Nephi. Her husband died a number of years ago. Before going to Ogden, Og-den, Mrs. Starr resided at Second East, Eighth South street. She is survived by three daughters, daugh-ters, Miss Pearl Starr, who is seriously ill in an Ogden hospital; Miss Anna Starr, Ogden; Mrs. Inez In-ez Bird of Salt Lake City; also three granddaughters; two sisters, f Mrs. Jennie Starr, Springville and Mrs. Sarah White of Spanish Fork. |
