Show Miners Auto Wins Bowling Title; New Scores Made Several records were broken in the- Inter - City bowling league Tuesday night as bowlers gave forth their best for the final night of bowling in league play. Jack's Toggery hit the year's high team series score and also got the high team game score. A Toggery club man, Vernal Roylance, tied the individual in-dividual scoring record for one game, as did Leonard Stone of the Mapleton Jaycees. Jack's high series score of 2572 pins gave them a 3-1 win over Mapleton Jaycees' 2380 pins. Anderson An-derson Garage connected for 2304 pins to Miner's, the Inter-City champions, 2200, to take them 3-1. The loss still left the leading Miner, team in the top spot for the league championship. Thorn's won 3-1 over Eddington Canning, with pin totals of 2227 and 2035. Jack's high game score was 940, which was better by 37 pins over the former for-mer high held by Miners. Manic-ton Manic-ton Jaycees got third with an 888 score. High individual honors went to Vernal Roylance and Leonard Stone, who made the season's high score of 244 pins for the single game. A. Snow placed second in the week's high scoring with 213 pins. Roylance was third highest for the season, in the series score with 584 pins, Tuesday night. Roy Johnson came second in the week's bowling with a 562, followed by Stone with 542.
