Show ADULT SCHOOLS SUGGESTED BY "U" PRESIDENT The University of Utah is working work-ing on plans to establish adult education centers throughout the state, according to Dr. A. Ray Olpin, university president. Pointing out it "always is cheaper to bring scholars to students stu-dents than vice versa," he said such centers would provide Utahns with an opportunity to get a' general education without leaving home. It would also tend to relieve some 6f the pressure from the university proper. The university estimates a student stu-dent spend at least $1000 a year in the community where he goes to college, as well as $100 with the university itself. |
