Show COUNTY CHAIRMAN NAMES CITY RED CROSS WORKERS Branch quotas for Utah county's 1948 Red Cross drive were announced an-nounced recently, with Provo's share of $10,000 leading the list toward the total county goal of $21,900. County Drive Chairman Sterling Ster-ling Ercanbrack revealed quotas for the rest of the county, and announced branch drive chairmen in communities where they have been selected. The new chairmen are listed as follows, with the quota of their branch. Others will be announced later. Payson, $1295, Mrs. Stanley' Wilson; Santaquin, $400; Spanish Fork, $1810; Springville and Mapleton, $2250, Ray Klauck and Burton Groesbeck; Orem, $1890, Harry Butler, Pleasant Grove, $1085, Don V. Gamette; American Fork, $1895, Howard Holley, and Lehi, $1275, Howard Robinson. As previously announced, Chas. E. Peterson will head the drive in Provo city. Mrs. Mabel Kirk today reminded re-minded citizens of the many services serv-ices offered by the Red Cross, both world-wide, nationally and locally. She pointed out that grants and . loans of over $14,000 were extended ex-tended in Utah county to veterans alone during 1947. |
