Show SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. LORENTSEN Mrs. Susan Draper Lorentsen, 78 died Wednesday evening of ailments ail-ments incident to age, at the home of a son, Clarence Jensen, where she had made her home in recent years, because of ill health. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Second ward chapel, under direction of the Fifth ward bishopric. Burial was in the Salt Lake City cemetery, ceme-tery, under direction of A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary. Mrs. Lorentsen was born at Moroni, Mo-roni, March 10, 1869, a daughter of William L. and Ellen A. Draper. Her early life was spent at Freedom Free-dom and at Juab, Utah. Always an active worker in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she had served in various capacities capaci-ties in ward organizations in the Freedom ward. Besides her husband, she is survived sur-vived by the following sons and daughters: Carl H. Jensen, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Annie Bird, Seattle, Wash.; Robert H. Jensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carrie Es-telle Es-telle Nute, Los Angeles, Calif.; Earl Jensen, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Eva Stark, Mapleton; Clarence Clar-ence L. Jensen, Springville; 32 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Emma Chase, Nephi; John Willard Draper, Dra-per, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sarah Ett Johnson, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Martha Pearl Wooley, Tri-dell, Tri-dell, Utah. |
