Show (Paragraphs Ot ) (Interest ... j Mrs. Ray Lovell and children of Brookside spent a few days of the past week with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Turner of Brookside have as their guest Mr. Turner's mother of.Provo, who came here after a visit with relatives rela-tives in Salt Lake City. Mrs. I. S. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Leo VJeight went to Salt Lake City, Sunday, to visit Mr. Brown, who underwent a major operation on Friday of the past week at the LDS hospital. Mr. and Mrs. George Adams returned re-turned the past week from Honolulu, Hono-lulu, T. H., where they spent two months with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Ralph Brown, and children. They liked the islands so well that they are planning to return to make their home indefinitely and have booked passage for April 15. Mrs. Peter Nielson returned home early this week after a several sev-eral day visit with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harmer and children, of Layton, have moved to Springville and are making mak-ing their home with Mrs Harmer's father, Andrew Peterson. ' Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. Weight and Mrs. Wilda Oakley were in Salt Lake City, Sunday, to visit their son and brother, Orman Weight, who is confined to the LDS hospital following a major operation. Mrs. Erwin L. Sheffield returned re-turned Monday from Grand Junction, Junc-tion, Colo., where she attended the official opening of the Radio Station Sta-tion KEXO. At the ceremonies speeches were made by the governor gov-ernor of the state and by civic and educational leaders, who congratulated con-gratulated the new station and its owners and manager. Mrs. Wm. Weight plans to leave today for Beverly Hills to visit her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Nate Arken, and their new baby son, William Lewis. Russell Palfreyman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Palfreyman, has re- turned to the states after an extended ex-tended ocean voyage to South American countries. He is stationed sta-tioned with the navy on the southeastern south-eastern coast. Mr. and -Mrs. M. W. Bird have returned home following several weeks visit with their son, Nicholas Nicho-las Bird, and daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Huish, in California. |
