Show Ciiy Makes Health and Road Inspection Tours Most Business Yards Found Clean, Others To Be Improved; Curb And Gutter Projects Being Considered By Council Glen Tipton, chairman of the city council health committee, com-mittee, together with state and city health officers, have been making a tour of inspection in the rear of Springville $ business establishments, according to Mayor Sterling Price. Most of the rear yards were found clean and in order, but some were found in bad condition and not conducive to health, and are also a fire hazard, the report indicated. indi-cated. These few places are to be cleaned as fast the the garbage can be collected, the department officers said. In the meantime, residents and places of business are asked to place all ashes and broken bottles in boxes to facilitate the work of the garbage collector. Inspect Roads ... W. B. Gogarty, chairman of the streets and walks committee, with the city engineer, and other committee com-mittee members, have recently made a tour of the city, directing attention to undeveloped roads and walks and looking over the possibilities possi-bilities of curb and gutter. The latter project would be under un-der direction of the city engineer department and the city planning board, which plans a meeting for Friday evening, beginning at 7:30 p. m., ih the City hall, to discuss the proposition.
