Show fanpioiisliip Bowling Tournament Planned I!y Association Tourney Will Begin January 10; All Entries Must Be In By Midnight, Sunday, January 4 Tlie annual Championship Tournament conducted by tlie Springville Bowling Association will start January 10th al tlie Art Howling, and continue through January 25th. This will be the biggest events - of the bowling season. Champions in each event will be crowned at a public presentation January 31st. American Bowling Congress rules will be observed and the tournament tour-nament is open to all ABC members. mem-bers. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners of the handicap in 5-man 5-man teams, 2-man teams and singles, while the championship will go to the highest scorers from scratch. Approximately one prize will be awarded for each seven entries in each event, in addition to other prizes given by interested donors. Entrants are urged to get their entries in early. All 5-man teams will bowl on Saturdays at 8:00 p. m., beginning January 10. Doubles will bowl on Sundays, Jan. 11 and 25, starting at 4:00 p. m., a new squad starting every hour until 8:00 p. m. Single entries will start 4:00 p. m. Sunday, January 18, squads changing each hour from 4:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. All eligible bowlers are invited to get in the fun. Everyone will have an equal chance of winning awards under the handicap system. sys-tem. It is expected many of the winners will be from the lower average bracket. Entry blanks are available at the Art Bowling. Entry fee must accompany all entries. Contestants may register with Del Humphrey or leave their entry at the Art Bowling.
