Crandall, S7, litV-long ivUlont of Springvillo, died Monday Mon-day morning of ailments incident to his as at the family residence, South Second Fast street. He had been in failing: health for some time. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 1 p. m. In the Second ward chapel, under direction direc-tion of Bishop J. Y. Eearnson of the Fifth ward. Frivnds may call at the Crandatl home after 10 a. m. Friday. Burial will he in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction direc-tion of Claudin Funeral home. Mr. Crandall was born in Springville Spring-ville January 2-1, IStiO, a son of Myron and Susannah Wimmer Crandall. During his earlier life he followed railroad contracting, working- in Utah and other western west-ern states. He had been an active member of the LDS church, holding hold-ing the position of high priest at the time of dwath. He married Julia Sumsion on October 26. 1SS6, in Springville, and in October, 191S, they received re-ceived their endowments in the Salt Lake temple. After her death in 1922, he married Mrs. Esther Dillingham on December 7, 1927. He is survived by his widow and five sons and daughters: Myron and George Crandall and Mrs. Lula Mendenhall of Springville; Mrs. Ann Stevenson of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. T. B. Hannigan of Sacramento, Calif. There are also 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. |
