Show TEACHER EXAMS TO BE GIVEN AT BYU FEB. 7 National Teacher Examinations for active and prospective teachers teach-ers will be offered at Brigham Young university Feb. 7, according accord-ing to Dr. Golden L. Woolf, chairman chair-man of the department of secondary second-ary education at BYU. The American Council on Education, Edu-cation, which is sponsoring the examinations, has designated BYU as one of its official testing centers cen-ters and the examinations will be administered by Mark K. Allen, associate professor of psychology. psy-chology. The examination is one phase of the council's program to promote the selection of well-qualified well-qualified candidates to enter the teaching profession. All students in the department of secondary education at BYU who expect to do student teaching teach-ing during this school year will be required to take the test, Dr. Woolf said. It is also available for the benefit of any school teacher, principal or administrator administra-tor who wishes to make use of it. Persons desiring to take the test must file written application forms with Dr. Woolf or Prof. Allen by Jan. 7. Dr. Woolf urged that these applications be filled out prior to the Christmas holidays, is pos--sible. I |
