Show Thorpe-Seal Wedding Lovely Home oAffair A wedding of interest here was that . of Zelma "Teddy" Thorpe, daughter of Mrs. Etta Thorpe of this city, and Glen T. Seal, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Seal of River-ton, River-ton, which took place last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, at the home of the bride's mother. F. E. Seal, bishop of the Riverton ward, and father of the groom, performed the ceremony in the presence of immediate family members and close friends. The bride was attired in a. beautiful beau-tiful wedding gown of white georgette geor-gette entrain, with V-neckline and lace insertion, and long, pointed sleeves and full skirt. She wore crystals and her bridal bouquet was of pink and white roses, gardenias, gar-denias, stephanotis centered with an orchid. White ribbon streamers were tied with tiny white rosebuds. rose-buds. Her veil ' of silk net-was fashioned to her head with a coronet coro-net of lace and flowers. The bride and groom stood before be-fore the mantel banked with pink and white roses, gladioli and blue delphinium for the candlelight ceremony. Attending the bride were her sisters, Mrs. Cleo Bishop and Mrs. Lucille Graber of Springville and Lamira Bishop of Delta. They were attired in pastel-colored for-mals for-mals with corsages of talisman roses and blue delphinium. Blaine Thorpe, brother of the bride, was best man and little Marilyn Thorpe Thorpe and Mrs. James Simmons with vocal duets, accompanied by Mrs. Maurice Bird, and Carol Jean Loveridge and Joy Thorpe gave vocal numbers, accompanied by Nola Loveridge. Mr. and Mrs. Howard .Thorpe were acting host and hostess. Mrs. J. W. Grant and Mrs. L. J. Loveridge Love-ridge were in charge of the serving, serv-ing, with Mrs. Blaine Thorpe In the gift room, assisted by Lela Rae Thorpe and Joy Thorpe. The bride and groom left for a few days' honeymoon and will return re-turn to make their home at Delta. Mrs. Seal's going-away outfit was of brown wool with green- accessories ac-cessories and she wore a single orchid. who was dressed in green chiffon, was flower girl, carrying a bou-1 quet of sweetpeas. The bride was given in marriage mar-riage by her uncle, Albert Thorpe. Following the ceremony, the couple was honored with a wedding wed-ding reception- at the Thorpe home to which 200 relatives and friends were bidden. In the receiving line were parents par-ents of the bride and groom and other members of the wedding party. Mrs. Thorpe was attired in blue crepe with orchid corsage and Mrs. Seal in black with red rosebud corsage. During the evening, Ora Mae Bishop of Delta entertained with piano selections Mrs. Howard |
