Show Mrs. LaDean B. Headman left recently for Maywood, Calif., where she will make her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Buckley, who recently went there to make their home. , Mr. and Mrs. Marion Robinson and family of Murray spent the past week-end with her mother, Mrs. Agnes McKee, and other relatives rel-atives and friends here. Mrs. Rosalyn E. Peterson has returned from a two-weeks' visit with her husband, Lt. Thomas C. Peterson, at Wilmington, N. C. Mrs. Verna Brienholt and her daughter Marilyn left Thursday for Santa Paula, Calif., after Visiting Vis-iting ten- days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Allan. Verna is supervisor of speech in the school at Ventura, Calif., and on her return plans to enroll for summer school at the University of Southern California. Mrs. Gladys Nelson has, returned return-ed to her home in Calif o'rnia after af-ter spending two weeks with her sister, Mrs. Fred Weight, and family here. Sgt. L. E. Garnick left Monday for Nebraska where he will be stationed following a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ford ' Burt, here. He has been serving in the Panama Canal zone. Mrs. Lois S. x Hughes of Los Angeles, Cal., has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Annie Sumsion, and other relatives and friends here and in Provo and Spanish Fork. :. Mrs. Beama B. Coombs of Sutherland, Suth-erland, Nebr., is spending a few I weeks with her sisters, Mrs. May Bird, Mrs. Minerva Weight, Mrs. Emma Kennedy and other relatives rela-tives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Bird and daughter Joan of Midvale visited Sunday with his mother, Mrs. May Bird, and other relatives and friends in- Springville. Mrs. Charles A. Franks has spent the past few days at Cho-teau, Cho-teau, Mont., where she was called because of the illness and death of her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Merwin M. Brown and children of Roseburg, Ore., are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Gabbitas and other relatives and friends in Provo. Pro-vo. Mrs. W. L. Loewenstein and baby daughter Ruth of Terra Haute, Ind., are visiting with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. George A. Anderson. Mrs. Theo Phillips of Roosevelt spent a few days of the past week with relatives and friends here and in Provo and Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ruth W. Nielson and son and daughter of Gardenia, Calif., are visiting her sister, Mrs. Lloyd Bird and family here this week. Norma Roylance and her sister Karen spent the week-end with relatives and. friends at Fairview. Mrs. Tom Anderson and daughter daugh-ter Carolyn Rae, with Mrs. Anderson's An-derson's mother, Mrs. Una Stein, and sister, Betty Ruth Stein, arrived ar-rived here recently from Wichita, Kas., and plan to make their home in Springville. Mrs. J. T. Russell of St. John is spending a few days with her son, C. G. Russell and family, in Springville. Lt. Lamar Buckner of Ogden-, friend of Floyd Anderson, visited here recently with Floyd's mother, Mrs. Ellen Anderson and family. Mrs. Madge W. Crandall is convalescing con-valescing from a minor operation she underwent Monday. Mrs. Luttie Watts has returned to her home in Springville after spending several months with her daughter and family at Lynndyl. Mrs. Arnold Barney has returned return-ed from a few days' visit with her husband, who is stationed with the Marines in San Diego. Members of the Aureole club are to have a canyon party Friday Fri-day afternoon, and are to meet at the north side of the city park at one o'clock. |
