Show - JAYCEES NAME CITY GARDEN CONTEST WINNERS The Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce on Wednesday announced the winners of the garden contest rjrj which has just closed here. Ac- III! cording to Glenn Tipton, committeeman commit-teeman in charge of the contest, several entries were so close that II It was a difficult task to name K the winner. Judges finally simmered the ' ntestants down to three, including includ-ing George Nelson, Harold Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and Cornell Jessee. From these three, George Nelson was p; selected ss the winner and to him was awa-ded the prize of $10. The winning garden, as did all others, had practically every kind of vegetable, and all had been very well taken care of, according accord-ing to the judges. The winning entry is located at ( about Fifth South and First East I street. |
