Show 1 Q RELIEF SOCIETY FETES RETIRING OFFICERS In honor of the retiring- officers of the Second ward Relief Society, Soci-ety, the new officers entertained at a party on the lawn of the Second Sec-ond ward Tuesday afternoon. A delightful program was featured fea-tured with Mrs. Fern Williams paying pay-ing tribute to the visiting teachers; teach-ers; Mrs. Norma Strong to the activity leaders; Mrs. Louisa Wainwright to the class leaders, and Mrs. Eva Crandall to the retiring re-tiring officers. Responses were by Mrs. Catherine Sumsion, retiring president, Mrs. Josie Alleman and Mrs. Velma Hjorth, counselors. Mrs. Preal York and Mrs. Grace Crandall are the retiring secretaries. secre-taries. Mrs. Ellen Anderson entertained en-tertained with a vocal solo during dur-ing the afternoon. Also featuring the program was the presentation of lovely gifts of appreciation to the retiring officers offi-cers of the organization. Tasty refreshments were served at the close of the social to approximately approximate-ly sixty members. New officers in charge of the entertainment were Mrs. Margaret Marga-ret Miner, president; Mrs. Chole Fox and Mrs. Bessie Bramall, counselors, and Mrs. Zola Tuttle, secretary. |
