Show Businessmen Ask Change to Profit American small businessmen "do not want anyone, government least of all, to hold an umbrella over them," DeWitt Emery, president pres-ident of the National Small Business Busi-ness Men's Association told a convention con-vention in Chicago. "What small businessmen want above anything else," he declared, "is an administration in Washington Wash-ington in which they can place full confidence, and with which they can cooperate to help bring about conditions under which they have a fair chance to operate . . . with a reasonable expectation of profit." |
