Show Sprinkling Ruling Must Be Observed, Cemetery Fees Paid, Officers Report Leg-ion; Paul Haymond, representing represent-ing the city council. Another member mem-ber at large is to be appointed. The sprinkling schedule for Springville went into effect April 1 and townspeople, with exception ex-ception of those with meters are requested to adhere to the schedule and no one is allowed to turn on the hose until a sprinkling ticket is secured. This was the announcement made by the city officials Wednesday, Wednes-day, following a council meeting. It was pointed out that at this time of year, tfTe water in the storage stor-age tanks is at a lower level than at any other time, because the snow in the mountains has not yet gone through the ground into the springs. Omtery Care City Recorder Lloyd Ashcraft .states that fees for the upkeep of cemetery lots are due and payable. If the fee Is not paid by May 1 care on the lots will of necessity be discontinued. The fee for caring for a lot each year is $5; for a half lot, $3 and for perpetual care $125. Memorial Board The city har, this week published an ordinance with provision for the establishing of a Veteran's Memorial Mem-orial board. The duty of the board among other things is to decide on a suitable memorial for Springville so that application may be made to the county for the Memorial fund, due each city for the purpose of establishing a memorial to veterans vet-erans of World War II.
