Show Jaycees Work for Travel Award; Get New Members Springville Jaycees will travel to Lewiston this week to attend the last Travel Trophy meeting?, this season and they hope to return re-turn with the trophy. The local clubmen are ahead of any other club by some 2700 miles and a good representation at the Lewiston meet will cinch the award, officers state. Last Friday, a number of local clubmen attended the charter banquet ban-quet and program at Centerville, when Grant Thorn of Springville was the guest speaker. Attending from Springville were: Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Averett, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Done, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Thorn. 1 New Members At the Jaycee meeting last Thursday evening six new members mem-bers received new pins and three others were welcomed into the club and will receive membership pins on April 17. The new members include: Dick Wing, Wallace Danielson, Gene Averett, Junior Llewellyn, Henry Bismark, John Whightsil, Dean Allen, Al-len, Floyd Wing and John D. Boyd, the latter three to receive their pins next week. |
