Show Art Exhibit Attracts Many Visitors; Schedule of Tours for Week Given Someone visiting the art gallery the past few days described the 1952 exhibit as being in a class of its own. Others have termed it the best exhibit yet, while others declare de-clare the pictures in this year's show are more interesting than in anv other previous show. With these several opinions, one may well believe that the exhibit is well worth anyone's time to visit at least a dozen times if possible during this month. Evidence that folks from out-of-town are taking advantage of the art exhibition is seen from the names signed on the official register regis-ter over the week end and daily since the exhibit opened. Already art patrons from Nevada, Idaho, California and several other states have registered and scores of visitor's visit-or's names from Utah cities are seen on the register. Each evening except Saturday and Sunday until 9 p.m., the exhibit ex-hibit is open and someone is in attendance to talk about the paintings paint-ings and the artists. The schedule for the next few days is as follows: Thursday (tonight) Glen Turner; Tur-ner; April 11, Oliver Parson; Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday evening, open; April 14, Mary Schwartz; April 15, B. F. Larsen; April 16, Roman Anrus; April 17, Richard Gunn. ! |
