Haymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Haymond, 228 E. 8th South,' is among 12 Utah high school students selected for entry into the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, the University of Utah was informed this week. He will be accepted for admission admis-sion by an NROTC college or University Uni-versity of his choice beginning with the fall term of 1952. Thi?. will entitle him to a four-year NROTC scholarship by the Navy. Since the University of Utah is the only institution in Utah with a Naval ROTC department, it anticipates an-ticipates most of the Utahns selected sel-ected under the program will enroll en-roll there. |
